At Pediatric Dental Anesthesia Associates there is nothing more important than your child’s safety!

Most dental procedures in children are completed local anesthesia; however, very young, fearful or uncooperative children may require sedation. Intravenous (IV) sedation is a deep sleep that insulates your child from the stress and discomfort associated with dental procedures.

Dr Vila and his assistants were awesome with my son’s dental surgery this week. He has oral aversions and major anxiety about medical procedures after a history of cleft palate and lip repair done overseas. They did a great job accommodating his anxiety before and he came out of anesthesia very well with no complications. Highly recommend.

My son is four with severe autism, so we needed to have him sedated for a dental check-up. Dr Rice and the nurse did an amazing job with him. We went over everything in advance on the phone, they sent reminder texts to make sure he didn’t eat, and they sent reminder texts afterwards. They even had an informational video explaining the process before he went in. For the procedure, they were able to get him comfortable going with them (which is pretty impressive), and he was happy and giggling when he fell asleep. They updated me during the procedure that he was doing well and were super helpful afterwards. I was pretty worried since it was his first time being sedated, but it went amazingly well and they did a great job of allaying my fears!

Absolutely amazing experience with Dr Watson and his staff. They were all so great with caring for my daughter while also keeping me informed.

My daughter was traumatized by another dentist. When we took her to the new dentist she felt comfortable enough with them to let them look at part of her mouth but then shut down. They suggested we go this route. My experience with this team was nothing but perfect. From the phone calls and texts before and after her appointment. To even updates during her appointment. I expressed the prior issues we had to them and they listened. They then interacted with her in front of me so I knew she would be comfortable with them. The staff is amazing with children and enjoy what they do. I would recommend them and use them again. Thank you is not enough to express my gratitude.
